The Necta actuator board (part number 6735-558-00) is the actuation (control) module primarily responsible for operating the product dispensing motors in Samba Top and Necta Rock models. Its failure is a very common cause of issues with product dispensing.

  • Incorrect motor control - spirals are not being detected, do not respond, etc.
  • Shelf/column not detected - the machine does not recognize the selected shelf or ignores an entire column

How to diagnose Necta actuator board 6735-558-00

  • check if the LED3 (power supply indicator) is lit on the board. If not - verify whether the board is receiving 24 V AC on the outermost pins of terminal J16. If there is no voltage – look for the cause in the machine (check fuses / wiring). If voltage is present but LED3 is off - the board is faulty.
  • check if the green LED1 (heartbeat) is blinking. It should be blinking regularly under normal operation.
  • check whether LED2 (RESET) lits or blinks. If it is permanently on or blinking constantly - the board has failed to boot - the board is defective.
  • if the board starts up but does not control the motors - check LED4 (door switch / safety enable). If LED4 is not lit - the board has detected that the machine door is open / door switch circuit is not closed → motor control is intentionally disabled for safety. Check or repair the door switch / door closing circuit. Once the circuit is closed properly, LED4 should light up (no need to restart the machine to see this change). After fixing the door issue → restart the machine.
